New session launched for the 31st ECNP Congress 

For the upcoming ECNP Congress in Barcelona on 6-9 October 2018, a new session has been launched: ECNP Inspired.

ECNP Inspired is an alternative type of session featuring prominent speakers from the field giving a short inspirational talk on popular topics. More on the session can be found here.

ECNP Brain Day 2018

We will have our fifth public information day (the Brain Day or El dia del cerebro), this year, in conjunction with the ECNP Congress. It will take place on 5 October 2018 at the University of Barcelona. The day is open to patients, families and professionals.

Members: Invitation to the ACNP Annual Meeting 2018

ECNP is again able to designate six ECNP members to be invited to the 57th Annual Meeting of ACNP, 9-13 December 2018, Hollywood, Florida, USA.

You may show your interest, including a short justification (max 250 words), to attend the 2018 ACNP Meeting by sending an e-mail to the ECNP Office by 29 June 2018 at the latest.

ECNP at APA meeting

In May, as part of our outreach plans to audiences beyond Europe, ECNP participated in the 2018 APA Annual Meeting in New York, with an exhibition booth. The booth featured information about the College and its activities, in particular the ECNP Congress and Neuroscience-based Nomenclature (NbN) initiative. NbN was also showcased in a special three-hour scientific session in the APA programme chaired by APA Past President Maria Antonia Oquendo.

Visitors to the booth could win a free registration to the 31st ECNP Congress in Barcelona.

The last date to apply for ECNP Workshop on Clinical Research Methods 2018, 15 June, is fast approaching.
